PRESTIGE: Printed Interactive Materials for End-User Products

The PRESTIGE project is an EU H2020 collaboration between 16 partners developing novel printed sensing, actuation and construction materials (electroactive fluorinated polymers, photoactive materials, electroactive organic moeities, fluorinated
relaxor terpolymers, tailor-made polymers for overmoulding and organo-mineral coating), integrating them into TRL7 demonstrators: haptic feedback on steering wheels, energy-harvesting wearables and e-plastic labelling with oleophobic coating for sustainable product packaging.

During the project, Glasgow is prototyping haptic feedback for in-car interfaces and designing user interactions for novel smart-sensing product packaging.
